Critical reception

Bollywood Hungama gave Shivaay 3.5 out of 5 stars. "Shivaay is a perfect emotional thriller that scores high on the account of its breathtaking visuals, amazing action and a high octane performance". The Times of India gave the film 3 stars out of 5, praising the cinematography but criticizing the 3 hr runtime.[19] Writing for The Hindu, Namrata Joshi commented that the movie moves too slow, and "turns out almost three hours long with just a wisp of a story."[20] Anna MM Vetticad of Firstpost described the film as heavy-handed, over-stretched film.[21]

Rating the film 1.5 stars out of 5, Ananya Bhattacharya of IndiaToday.in praised the cinematography but criticized the writing. "The scale of the film is mesmerising as are the action and chase sequences. But good photography and stunts can do only so much to a badly-written film."[22] Raja Sen of Rediff.com gave the film 1 out 5, calling it an "absolute catastrophe,". Like Bhattacharya, Sen praised the camera work, but levied criticism at the film as promoting Devgn, whom Sen described as "a man who casts himself as invincible and flawless." Sen questioned the believability of the "self-celebrating" character and described the story as an "inane series of car-chases and imbecilic behaviour".[23] Sukanya Verma of Rediff rated the film 2 stars out of 5, and also described the film as a promotional vehicle for Devgn. "Almost every single scene of its foolish script is designed to showcase his bravado and appeal at the expense of content and coherence." Shubhra Gupta of Indian Express wrote in a 1 out of 5-star review, "The only thing your eye can rest on is the spectacular scenery. The rest is a bloated star vehicle."[24]

Watch Bol_Bachchan  Free Online In Hd

Bol Bachchan is a 2012 Bollywood action comedy film. The film, made on a budget of ₹700 million (US$10 million),[2] is inspired by the 1979 film, Gol Maal. Bol Bachchan's official trailer was released on 24 May 2012[3] and the film was released on 6 July 2012 in around 2575 screens worldwide with 2700 prints. It received mixed critical acclaim but had a good opening at the box office.[4] The film reportedly made a record for its advance bookings.[5][6] It was remade in Telugu as Masala with Venkatesh and Ram Pothineni reprised the roles of Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan respectively.

Plot
Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) lives in Chandni Chowk with his sister Sania (Asin Thottumkal). When their ancestral property is taken from them by deception, Abbas loses his job. Their family friend, Shastri (Asrani), convinces them to move to his village, Ranakpur, where he assures Abbas that he will get him a job at his boss, Prithviraj Raghuvanshi's (Ajay Devgn), place. Pritvhiraj is a powerful but kind-hearted man who hates lies and liars, and punishes them harshly. Abbas and Sania arrive at Ranakpur and meet Abbas's friend Ravi (Krishna Abhishek), Shastri's son, who runs a drama company with his friends. Abbas learns that there is a temple at the border of Ranakpur and Kherwada, the village where Prithviraj's cousin Vikrant Raghuvanshi is powerful. The two cousins are archenemies. The temple, being at the border of the two villages, was disputed and has been locked for years.

The plot begins when a child falls into the well of the temple and Abbas breaks the temple's lock to save the child. When Prithviraj arrives at the scene, Ravi says Abbas's name as Abhishek Bachchan to avoid religious controversies of a temple being broken open by a Muslim. Prithviraj hires Abhishek Bachchan (Abbas) and is happy with his work, but Ravi and his friends have to come up with a new plan when Prithviraj spots Abbas celebrating Eid as a Muslim. Abbas and the others convince Prithviraj that the one celebrating Eid was actually 'Abbas', an effeminate man and classical Kathak dancer. Things become worse for Abbas and Ravi when Prithviraj kindly hires Abbas for teaching Kathak to his sister Radhika (Prachi Desai). The more Abbas tries to manage his dual life without letting Prithviraj know, the more he has to lie to cover up other lies; this forms the crux of the story. The movie ends with a climatic cliff scene where both Abbas and Pritihviraj make up after a series of lies.

Production
The film was originally expected for a Diwali 2011 release, though was postponed to 2012.[7] On Dussehra 2011, director Rohit Shetty who previously directed the comedy flick, Golmaal 3 (2010), did first give actor Ajay Devgn an offer for Golmaal 4, but Devgn claimed "Golmaal 4 will happen next to next year. It's necessary to have two years gap between two Golmaal films. It's not good if it comes every year." After the announcement, it was added that Bol Bachchan will be made before Golmaal 4.[8] In January 2011, it was revealed that actress Asin was roped in for the first female lead after Bipasha Basu rejected the role. Earlier, actress Genelia D'Souza was signed to play the second female lead, but due to her differences with the makers, she opted out of the project and hence the role was offered to Prachi Desai.[9]

In Jubilee Comedy Circus, Krushna Abhishek did a performance of Rohit Shetty never giving him a film role to do but having promised him in earlier seasons of the show, Rohit was so impressed by the performance, he decided to give Krushna a role in Bol Bachchan. Shetty also added co-host Archana Puran Singh from the same show to the film cast. It was revealed in the 300th episode special of Comedy Circus, where Rohit Shetty was a guest judge, that Paresh Ganatra was among the cast.[10] The film has been shot at various locations,[11] including Rohit Shetty's seemingly favourite Panchgani and Chomu Palace,[12] among other locations.
